Best conditions for the safe use of fittings in Hydrogen Applications: greatest possible gastightness when connecting pipes
In many fields of application, the use of fitting systems with very low leak rates is mandatory. The DILO sealing principle is perfectly suited for use in hydrogen applications due to its metal-to-metal sealing principle without any intermediate seal compound, which can be opened and closed as often as required. All fittings from our standard product range are suitable for hydrogen applications and can be manufactured from the standard materials 1.4571 or 1.4404. If other materials are required, custom-made designs are possible when providing us with the special material needed.
In order to guarantee the product quality and functionality of the DILO fitting system for hydrogen applications, we have had a special series for hydrogen applications tested and approved by TÜV Süd. The tests were carried out in accordance with EC 79/2009 for a nominal pressure of 700 bar and the component tests described in EU directive 406/2010.
