Analyzer FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I do if the moisture reading on my analyzer is higher than I think it should be?
DILO can recommend some steps to take if you suspect the moisture reading to be high:
- Ensure the couplings and test hoses being utilized are wiped down of any residual moisture.
- Ensure no rubber is being used for the testing equipment i.e. regulator diaphragm or testing hose.
- Pressurize the inlet hose and check for leaks using a leak detector. Leaks can cause the moisture values to increase.
- Conduct the “Purge” or “Rinse” function on the analyzer and then run additional tests.
- If you have a 3-038R, try turning off automatic pump back and running additional tests.
- Lastly, regulate and connect a bottle of Nitrogen to the inlet of the Analyzer and run a couple of tests to dry out the internal contents of the device. Reconnect to previous gas source and run a test.
If these steps do not correct the issue, please contact us.
What can I do if my analyzer purity reading is lower than I think it should be?
DILO can recommend some steps to take if you suspect the purity reading is off:
- Pressurize the inlet hose and check for leaks using a leak detector. Leaks can cause the moisture values to increase.
- Conduct the “Purge” or “Rinse” function on the analyzer and then run additional tests.
If these steps do not correct the issue, please contact us.
What can I do if the “Internal Storage Pressure to High” warning occurs on my analyzer?
DILO recommends that you conduct a manual pump back function. Please refer to the operating manual or Quick-Start Guide for step-by-step procedures. If these steps do not correct the issue, please contact us.
