The new H2 service cart for hydrogen vehicle engine services
The DILO ServiceCart H2 is an innovative solution to support workshop employees in all work related to hydrogen and hydrogen systems in vehicles – for fuel cell as well as for H2 combustion engines. This universally applicable device in H2 mobility will take over central service functions fully automatically:
- Depressurisation of the hydrogen system
- Inertisation of the system with nitrogen to remove hydrogen residues
- Residual gas measurement to confirm that the system is hydrogen-free
- Purging with forming gas for subsequent leak tests
- Leak tests to detect leaks after service
Previously, these tasks were carried out manually by specially trained personnel. This ServiceCart H2 simplifies these processes, so that targeted training on this device is sufficient to safely and efficiently qualify employees and to carry out the tasks in a variety of workshops.
