Our compliance specialists will ensure your facility is conforming with the following regulatory bodies:
- North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC): NERC is a not-for-profit international regulatory authority whose mission is to assure the reliability of the bulk power system in North America. NERC develops and enforces reliability standards, annually assesses seasonal and long‐term reliability, monitors the bulk power system through system awareness, and educates, trains, and certifies industry personnel.
- Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC): FERC is an independent agency that regulates the interstate transmission of electricity, natural gas, and oil. FERC also reviews proposals to build liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals and interstate natural gas pipelines as well as licensing hydropower projects.
- Southeastern Reliability Corporation (SERC): SERC is a nonprofit corporation responsible for promoting and improving the reliability, adequacy, and critical infrastructure of the bulk power supply systems in all or portions of 16 central and southeastern states. Owners, operators, and users of the bulk power system in these states cover an area of approximately 560,000 square miles and comprise what is known as the SERC Region.
